Why we don't need your subscription
Most PDF websites charge monthly because they run your files on their servers. We architected that cost away — and you can verify every claim on this page yourself.
Local tools cost us almost nothing to run
When you merge, split, compress, protect or OCR a PDF here, the computation happens on your device using WebAssembly. We serve a few megabytes of static code from a CDN and that's it. There is no server farm processing your files, so there is no per-use cost for us to recover with a subscription.
The only thing that costs us real money is AI
Translation, summaries and document Q&A call a large language model, and model providers charge per token. So that's exactly — and only — what we charge you for: credits, spent per action, with the price shown before you click. No monthly fee, no auto-renewal.
Our full price list
All 10 local tools: free, no watermarks, no daily limits, no account needed. AI credits: $9 for 500 or $19 for 1,500, one-time purchases that never expire. Translating a page costs 2 credits, a summary 5, a question 1. New accounts get 30 free credits.
Don't take our word for it
Open your browser's DevTools → Network tab while using any local tool: you will see no request containing your file. Load a tool page, go offline, and it still works. Our privacy page explains the architecture in detail.
